Organization of the Judicature of The Bahamas

The Judicature, which is the third arm of the Government, comprises the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal and the Privy Council. The Court of Appeal functions as an independent institution and is recognised as such in Article 98 (1) and (2) of the Constitution.
