But for the error identified by this court in its judgment, the evidence of the prosecution presented a compelling case against the appellant, and we are satisfied that it is in the interests of justice that a retrial be ordered in this case. We also indicate that as noted by the court during the banter with counsel that retrials ought to accord a greater precedence in the scheme of things when cases are being put before the Supreme Court.
